The origin story of our hotel is akin to a fairytale, and we are proud of how we came to be.
When our owner was going through the building process with the team, he noticed that several birds, some unique in Bali, often made their nests on our site despite the noisy work going on each day. Perhaps it was the lake beside us, or the sea being just meters away, that drew these birds to make their homes with us. Feeling most blessed and touched by the gift of trust these birds had given us, because while there are many hotels on this side of the street, it was strange to behold as none had even half as many birds as we did, our owner named the hotel then and there.
He felt very strongly then, that like birds, travelers seek “nests” to roost in as they travel from place to place. What better values should a hotel aspire to, than to provide a safe comfortable “nest” for all the guests?
Birds continue to make their homes to this day on our premises, in the carpark, on the roof, in many of the nooks and crannies of our hotel, lending us the full authenticity of our namesake.
